How It All Started
Hi, I’m Whitney Kerr, the founder of Kerr Rockler Studios. My love for homes, interiors, and design has always been part of who I am. I’ve long been the go-to person for friends and family when it comes to choosing paint colors, rearranging furniture, or figuring out how to make a space feel just right. What started as a natural eye for design turned into a true passion—and eventually, a career.
With a background in real estate, photography, and graphic design, I developed a strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and how spaces influence the way we feel and function. As I pursued interior design coursework and staging training, I discovered how my skills all connected—how art, space, and functionality come together to create intentional, well-designed environments. I also came to realize that design is more than just aesthetics—it’s a solution to a problem.
Staging and design are two sides of the same coin. Staging is about creating a vision that allows buyers to emotionally connect with a home, helping them see its potential. Design, on the other hand, is about making a space truly reflect the people who live there—blending function, personality, and style. I love working in both areas—helping sellers showcase their homes in the best light and helping homeowners create spaces that work beautifully for their daily lives.
When I’m not working on home projects, you’ll usually find me in the garden, testing out a new creative hobby, or spending time with my family. I believe that design isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about creating a home that enhances your lifestyle.
